Now listen up, ya’ll, because this is seriously interesting and unbelievable.
I made a new friend recently: a very funny, honest, tell-it-like-it-is kind of guy, who I’ll be interviewing later this week. But more about him later.
First let me tell you this incredible story that he passed on to me.
About 6 years ago, my friend heard a story about a mental hospital in Hawaii. This was a locked-down hospital for the criminally insane: dangerous people who needed constant supervision. A new psychiatrist came to this hospital and agreed to look over the patients’ medical charts and see what he could do to help them, without actually seeing them one-on-one at all.
What I’m going to tell you now may sound unbelievable and ridiculous, but my friend Joe has verified that it is real. After some months, every one of the patients in that mental hospital was healed. By now, they have all fully rehabilitated and have been discharged. This happened without medication, without therapy.
The psychiatrist in question was a Hawaiian man trained in the ancient Hawaiian art of Ho’oponopono. Ho’o what? Ho’oponopono. It means “to make right,” to see everything around you, whether it is directly a part of your life or not, as your responsibility. You must have the attitude that, “If I experience it, then I created it, and if I created it, I can dissolve it.”
Ho’oponopono involves four distinct and beautiful sentences:
“I love you.”
“I’m sorry”
“Please forgive me”
“Thank you.”
The friend that I was telling you about is Joe Vitale. You may have seen him in the movie “The Secret.” He’s a well-know advocate of the “Law of Attraction” (which, as you know, I am not a huge fan of) and how to make loads of money (which I feel, I guess, kind of ambivalent about). Besides those things, Joe also has a heart of gold. He’s one of the most unapologetically authentic people we know. He tells it like it is, every time. Joe sought out that Hawaiian healer (Ihaleakala Hew Len, PhD) and interviewed him extensively. Together, they wrote a book about Ho’oponopono called Zero Limits, which came out a few years ago.
I asked Joe to join me this week on the free Thursday night tele-seminar to talk about Ho’oponopono, how he has integrated it into his own life, and how you can do the same. Please join me on Thursday, August 12th, at 6pm PST for what I’m sure will be an extremely interesting dialog. If you miss the live call, you can use the same link for the replay.

Thank you Arjuna, for sharing this knowledge of Ho’oponopono.

Thanx for sharing. I’m grateful for your knowledge. I too, read zero limits, and had miraculous results. At first I thought it was just coincidental luck i was having. So then I stopped cleaning and saying those 10 words under my breath when i didnt want to hear things, or like what i heard. M y luck stopped too. When I quickly began this again, that same luck followed. Nobody has to point it out. There are no coincidences in life. We are responsible for everyone. We have the power to create our own reality.
Thanx for this gift of zero limits, Joe. It continues to work wonders for me as well.
Always, yes always, expect miracles!

The Hawaiian “Ho’oponopono” is masterful in its peace-making potential. It looks rudimentary in its simplicity but is yet so thoroughly comprehensive that if followed diligently followed, it soon becomes apparent that it requires nothing less than one’s all. It calls for us to bare our souls to one another – the price of lasting peace.

Dear Friend, Al,
Your wisdom shines, as does your heart, sending forth your message to do this practice for others, for peace in the world.

Hello Ardjuna,
Thank you so much for the telecast on Joe Vitale and Ho’oponopono. It had be in tears as I was so happy that this process came along just when it is so needed. It is an answer to a prayer I have been praying. I was wondering if it could be made into a movie or TV documentary so it could reach a wider audience.

the best thing I like to do is practising Ho’oponopono by the beautiful sentences, that make life getting better and better.

Aloha!
Thank you for your post, Arjuna, and for the interview w/Joe Vitale. I was in on the call today, and I read the book Zero Limits several months ago.
I also just completed the Basic Ho’oponopono course. I believe it is very important to point out that the teaching and process is MUCH more involved than just those 4 statements. I strongly suggest that anyone interested visit the site http://www.self-i-dentity-through-hooponopono.com and attend a training. The trainings are very affordable and offered all over the world. There are others who were trained by Morrnah Simeona, such as Jean and Lester Nakasato, who facilitated the training I just attended on Maui. They were excellent and it was a transformational experience! I do admire and respect Joe Vitale, and Zero Limits is a fabulous introduction; I hope more people will go further than that and learn the full method.

Aloha All;
I too agree that using the simplified version can be of help, especially when people add in EFT tapping.
However, the original process that Auntie Morrnah Simeona taught (that Dr. Hew Len learned from her) is a deep process that has incredibly positive impact.
I have taken the Basic course various times over the years on Oahu, with some wonderful teachers here…
Each time, I have been blessed with huge shifts, tremendous healing…
Shortcuts are great if they help us use them…!
For depth, the Basic course is encouraged…

I recently read an interesting blog post with comments by Mabel Katz on her site about Advanced Hooponopono that you might enjoy reading.

I enjoyed listening to the teleseminar this evening. I have been doing ho’oponopono since 1986 when I took Basic I and Basic II over two weekends from Morrnah Simeona. I have repeated the training on a number of occasions, including from Ihaleakala. Each time I took the training, there were more and more tools given for specific applications and shorter methods of doing the process because of all the cleaning people do. I apply it to everything I do as well as use in my consulting practice. I highly recommend it for everyone to learn.

I downloaded Morrnah Simeona advanced self I dentity ho’oponopnoa e book, and he says that using the 4 phrases repetiley produces negative programming in unconscious mind. I wont be able to be on the call to ask this question, so I hope some one knows the answer to this, or will ask the question. Dee

I have come across Ho’oponopono some time ago (through Joe Vitale, his book and several DVDs)and practice it dayly. I have had some very fast results – and it touches my heart on a very deep level.
In fact I am so passionate about it that I am sharing Ho’oponopono now in two groups on a private basis. Some of the group members have had astonishing results as well. Thank you so much for sharing with your people. I love you.

I remember reading about Ho’oponopono many years ago and I really wanted to learn more … and, life and other learnings took me in a different direction. I had forgotten about it until now.
I somehow realise I have learnt the meaning of this in my own way anyhow. Most poignantly at the moment I keep coming back to this realisation.
Ever since the Gulf of Mexico crisis I have been crying every time I think of it (and this is not a normal experience for me) and felt so much despair and helplessness (and a real feeling of lack of safety). And each time I keep opening into that feeling and the mind despairing “what can small me do?” the only thing that comes back to me is that I am part of the problem and the solution. I need to live my life even MORE in accordance with how I want to see life on this planet being lived. That it’s not me avoiding by planting my backyard vegie garden, getting some chooks, raising my children in integrity – when I bring my intention and awareness to the process and hold on to the vision I have for a healed planet.
So thank you for sharing that experience and the beautiful reminder that I am co-creator in the magnitude of life, not just my own small experience of it 🙂

One of the benefits of learning ho’oponopono and how to work directly with Divinity on issues is that sometimes we are given specific tools for specific situations. I was concerned over the oil spill as well and Divinity gave me a specific tool to use for just that.

Hi… great to see the Ho’oponopono teachings getting around. I did Dr Hew Len’s workshop and got profound benefit from it and especially from being in his presence. He’s THE REAL THING! Best way to understand it and receive the authentic transmission is to take the workshop with Dr Hew Len who received these teachings direct from a female Ho’oponopono master in Hawaii.

Thanks for sharing this with your people, Arjuna! I came across this story of Joe Vitale in 2007, have been practising Ho’oponopono since then and met Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len in 2008 in the same formal course, Joe had been visiting before. Since then this has become my daily practise, doing the process, they are teaching in this seminar (which is NOT the Zero Limits seminar, Joe Vitale created!) Joe’s version does not reveal the secrets of the Self-I-Dentity through Ho’oponopono process, Dr. Hew Len is sharing in his workshop. Another thing is, that Dr. Len mentioned, that he didn’t write a single word in the book Zero Limits. He says, it was written completely by Joe Vitale. He said, he didn’t even read it… he just cleaned on it, which obviously was enough to make this book a Nr. 1 bestseller on Amazon in the summer, the last Harry Potter came out…
